Parkdale Private School

I went to train at this school as a potential employee and I was very dissapointed. I have worked with children for many years and I have worked in a daycare similar to Parkdale and I know what is expected of the teachers. I didn't feel comfortable with the way the lead teacher of the preschool (3years old) was treating the children and the hostility I saw coming from her. I don't appreciate her cold attitude with the children at all. It really made me uncomfortable and I'm sure the parents of these children would be VERY upset. She gave the child who had an accident the spray (with chemicals) and a wash rag and told her to clean it up herself in a very rude way. She didn't help her change and she made the child feel bad for an accident. She also yelled at the children instead of talking to them in a caring, understanding way often and it was unnecessary. I would never let my children around her and I am positive these parents would agree with me if they saw this. I spoke to the director three times and she didn't appear interested and I just got a vibe from her that what I was saying wasn't taken serious. I am upset that parents are paying for childcare service that is inadequate and morally incorrect. The children were saying "I want mommy" to me often and it just really made me feel terrible for them. I hope this is helpful information and I hope this is seen and read by anyone it may concern.
