Hello Everyone,
If you are thinking of enrolling your kid in PCC program to this school please read this review before you make any decision. I had some very bad experience with the teaching staff and principal Ms.Jackson.
I enrolled my kids to this school on Aug 2019 by reading some of the good reviews for this school.
Here I would like to share my experience. My son was 3 yrs old when we enrolled him for the PCC program. He is autistic kid with speech delay and is yet to be potty train. As school started, we gave lots of Training pants to the school staff. But the school staff requested for diaper since they said that it is difficult to change training pants since he is peeing a lot. We felt that strange since he has a normal pee pattern. But we agreed and gave them lot of diapers. But soon we started noticing that his diaper was always full. In fact most of the time his pants also use to get wet. When I ask the school staff about wet pant, they said that they change it. One morning before going to school, my kids of playing with marker and he accidently mark his diaper. Same day when I went to pick him up I see his pants were wet and diaper was full. And to my surprise, I see that he was wearing the same diaper since morning.
I ask the teaching staff Ms. Martha who usually change his diaper, She said that she had change his diaper. That was a blunt lie on the face. But when I told her about the mark, then she said that she missed to change it. Ms. Jimenez the class teacher heard our conversation and jumped into it. She told me that your son do not tell us when his diaper is full, hence we don’t change it. She said your son is supposed to tell us when his diaper is full. I was shocked to hear this from a special need kid teacher. She was fully aware that my son is a special need kid with speech delay and can’t really tell about it. When I tried to talk to her she cut my conservation again and said we have to change diaper for other kids so we can’t look at your kid, we get busy. It was a very unpleasant reply from her. Isn’t hygiene important for every kid in the class? I had to do something, so I called the LASUD and raised a complaint. The LAUSD complaint department told me that Special education Supervisor (Cherryl Babit) will call me back. They never called me. So then I then dropped an email to the principal informing about the incident. The Principal then informed me that she keep a log book to check if they really change the diaper. But that really did not make much of a difference. In fact Ms. Jimenez behaviors changed a lot. Her behavior become extremely unpleasant. Both Ms. Jimenez and Ms. Martha just stopped talking to me. One day when I went to school to pick up my son,I saw assistant holding my son and other kid while taking to the school bus driver. When I was about reach near my son, she roughly left my son's hand without even looking at me if I have even reach to my son. I quickly ran toward my son, fortunately he did not ran on the road, till I reach him, but the whole scene was just scary.
There is one more incident
One day after school was over, teacher and her assistant went to classroom. I noticed that my son's pant was wet so I took him back to school to change diaper. We were in corridor and at the same time MS. Jimenez opened classroom's door. If my son was few steps ahead, he would hit by door very badly. Teacher looked at him for 1 second and left with her colleagues. Forget about apologize or even care to say , “are you ok ?” she fail to even acknowledge , it was like me and my son was invisible to her. My son noticed that and he kept on calling Ms. Jimenez for the next one hour. It really impacted him.

I shared only couple of my experience here since I do not want to make this a lengthy review. I tried my best with the teaching staff and principal, but it was all in vain.

I felt so bad about all this that I decide to leave the school district. Overall please be careful if you are thinking about this school. The teaching staff and principal really do not bother about the kids in the school.
