Description:
Children who come to the Parent Support Center for Child Development at the Garfield Campus graduate with a strong sense of trust in themselves. They are armed with interest in their future educational experience. They are confident that they have what they need to begin the process of reading, and writing because they have been doing it every day. They have been practicing science, art, literacy, poetry, simple machines, music, astronomy, geometry, division and physics, as well as languages such as Armenian, Spanish, Korean, and Arabic. They have begun their college education while in preschool. You may ask. “How do you do all this without overwhelming the children?†The answer is, “We do it through play.†These are the magical years, and while working at the child’s level we accomplish so much.

I chose this place because it was close to my mom's house, but I can say this is the dirtiest childcare center. The owner showed me all the areas that children would play there and all I found was dust, old furniture, and dirty cubbies.
This is one of the best child care centers in Glendale. I put my daughter in this center when she was 3 years old. She was there for almost one year. She learned English in this center and was able to count the numbers in Armenian and Spanish too. The teachers are well educated and they are so friendly with kids and their parents. My daughter felt so welcome and she didn't want to miss a day. This center is based on lesson plans, and the teachers plan ahead for their activities. They have art, science, math, and language activities. My daughter liked the SAND BOX in this center, and she would play all day long. My daughter learned so much through play and I'm so happy I chose this child care. PARENT SUPPORT CENTER :)
This is an amazing preschool. The staff is caring and the children’s needs are the first priority. The children love to do the hands on science projects the teachers do each week. The children learn fundamentals of language, math, science, music, art, yet the learning looks like play. The teachers seem to have a clear plan about the direction they are going with the learning. The outdoor yard is like a private park with grapes vines, fruit trees and a small garden. They serve healthy snacks with fresh fruits and vegetables every day. The teachers inspire the children to work as a team to keep the classroom clean and neat, yet it has that feeling that lived in feeling. I over heard a parent say to a teacher: This school and the teachers know how to fill my child’s soul.
