Description: I have operated a registered day care in my home since 1989. I received my Child Development Associate Certificate (CDA) in 2001 and continue to take classes to improve my knowledge in the child care field. I have a background in nursing. I am a specialized service provider. I am a member of the Central Vermont Early Care and Education Network. Almost all of my day care children start as infants and stay until they enter 7th grade. My philosophy is I believe children learn naturally through play and a variety of experiences. Each child is a unique and special individual. All children should receive safe, healthy, dependable loving care and opportunities for development activities according to their ages, special needs, talents and interests. Curriculum includes: arts or craft activities, daily outside play, dramatic play, regular daily routine, sand & water play, songs or music activities and story time & literacy activities.
