Wonderful care! Absolutely the best daycare I could ask for. Would I rather be home taking care of my child? Yes. But Our Place To Grow has definitely surpassed my expectations for childcare. I am very happy with the care and love they provide.
Our Place to Grow is a wonderful childcare facility. they take the time with the children to teach and nurture them. The teachers are great. I have had five of my six kiddos grow up or are growing up in there care and they are just great kids. Sure my kids have gotten some bumps and scrapes but they are kids playing with other kids. I feel safe that my children are in this daycare.
If i could give 0 stars I would. My child was constantly hurt in this child care facility. They constantly go over ratio in the infant/toddler class my child was in and move kids to other classes without the parents knowledge. I finally had enough. I put my 2 week notice in & that same day exactly my child was then pushed by the child care worker in the class room causing him to trip over a toy & fall and hit his face. My child then crawled and sat in a corner for 15 minutes crying without one person checking on him. I know this because I personally watched the video footage. Two days later my 1 year old was in the ER at midnight with a swollen face & had Doctors thinking he had a broken cheek bone. After x-rays on his face thank goodness it wasn't broken. I did call CPS & Pierce County Sheriff Department Investigator was involved. This facility got away with this by the skin of their teeth. The angle of their camera couldn't deny nor confirm if the child care worker physically touched my child. (I',m sorry but a child's first instinct is to put his hands out to catch himself if they are falling. Why did he not even have a chance to do so? Wouldn't you think the impact of the fall had something to do with it? ) If I wasn't completely traumatized for what we went through & had a clear head to think properly I would of pressed charges. I would NOT recommend this facility to anyone & pray that no other family has to go through what my son endured. As working parents we expect our kids to be treated as we would treat them. This facility looked clean and we liked the security it offered. We paid top dollar and made sure we were not cutting any corners. Little did we know what happens behind closed doors.
