About the Provider

Description: North Country Academy's educational curriculum has been designed based on the following concepts: We believe that young children will learn best when the curriculum and activities are developmentally appropriate. This means that the learning activities planned for the children are matched with their biological and developmental age, their individual abilities and interests. We believe that young children learn best when they are involved in real-life experiences. Children learn by doing for themselves and this can be accomplished by involving children in daily activities utilizing a rich array of concrete objects and opportunities. We believe that children learn best when there is a bond between home and school. The child senses satisfaction and security when there is a confident, friendly, working relationship between parents and the school. We believe the most valuable lesson a child can learn during their early years is that school is fun, interesting and rewarding. Therefore, every aspect of our day is planned to encourage each child to experience success, to develop a positive self-image and to help each one develop the social, emotional, physical, creative and intellectual aspects of their personalities.

Scummy facility as well as staff! Children are treated poorly and tuition goes up every year. They provide nothing at all and for $1000 a month I pulled my kid out! Best decision I ever made!
