Normal Heights United Methodist Children’s Center is a fully licensed, non-profit organization that offers day care and preschool for children from ages two through kindergarten. Children who are not potty trained are welcome in our room for smaller children. We offer full and half-day rates, part-time, and also drop-in care. Our hours are Monday through Friday, from 6:00AM to 6:00PM.
Our program has a variety of activities geared for all ages. Some of these activities include reading, music and movement, academics, art, cooking, and occasional field trips.
We are a small school with a caring, educated staff. We strive to develop a program that will result in children who are responsible, considerate of others, and confident in their ability to cope with life, as well as celebrate it. We provide a calm, pleasant, educational environment where we can work towards this common goal. We always have an open door policy, so please feel free to visit or observe any time.
We are located at 4650 Mansfield Street, just off of Adam’s Avenue between the 805 and 15 freeways in the Normal Heights neighborhood of San Diego, California.
