Description: “My Friends & Me” Child Care Learning Centers (CCLC) began operations as a family child care provider in 1990 in El Centro, California. Under the name of Elizabeth’s Home Daycare the center was licensed for twelve children ages zero to twelve years. A staff of one Teacher-Director and her Assistant attended the preschool and school-age students of the home daycare which opened twenty four hours a day year-round. Thereafter, in 1995 under the new name of “My Friends & Me” CCLC the center expanded its licensed capacity to serve twenty-seven preschool children and operate as a center-based learning center. Later in 1997 “My Friends & Me” CCLC opened an infant and toddler developmental center with room for twenty children ages zero to two, and extended its preschool program to forty-seven students ages two to five, with a waiver for twelve school- age children. The center has served hundreds of children and families of Imperial County very successfully through out the years. Presently “My Friends & Me” CCLC is licensed for sixty seven children and has approximately seventy children enrolled on different scheduled days and hours. The center counts with fifteen full and part-time staff members, is open Monday through Friday from six am to twelve at midnight, Saturday from six am to six pm.
