Description:
Striving to inspire a love of learning and for children to be inquisitive about the world around them. I believe in immersion and guidance in an educational environment, enriched with experimentation, socialization, and exploration... all while instilling life long values. I do not focus solely on academics, I develop the whole child. Caring for and educating children is my passion in life. I want to offer your child the best start in life, in every aspect.
Mission Statement:
My mission is to offer quality care, in my home, to nurture and educate children in a loving, safe, and clean environment. Applying the knowledge I have attained, through my multiple years of experience and education, paves the way for this to be the most phenomenal child care and preschool program.
Philosophy:
My philosophy is that all children are individuals and develop at different rates, have different personalities, and come from different family backgrounds. I work with each individual child and accommodate all different types of learning styles into the typical day to day activities in order to create a learning environment that they can thrive in. Each child should be offered individualized care, just as unique as they are. They should also receive an early childhood educational plan that is curtailed to the individual child, based upon their ability, learning style, emerging skills, and mastered benchmarks.
My goal during their younger years includes building their academics but mainly focusing on their social/emotion skills that will teach them how to be well rounded individuals. Helping a child learn to communicate with another person and how to balance their own emotions is the key to lifelong success.
At a younger level, the children need to be able to depend on you to develop trust with an individual. This develops security, a foundational need in infants. Being consistent, loving, and loyal is a significant factor in infant/toddler care.
Tesimonial:
I have lived in Florida for 35 years. I have over 25 years of experience in Early Childhood with an extensive education and in-depth training. Over the years I have had the opportunity to operate an in-home child care, taught VPK for a private preschool, as well as been a VPK Preschool Director. My love of teaching and caring for children prompted me to re-open my in-home child care so that I could offer quality and individualized care for the children enrolled. I absolutely loved being a Preschool Director, but I greatly missed taking part in the early years and being that secondary caregiver that made a difference daily. Throughout my experience, I came to realize that as much as I loved being a Director at a private preschool, the children still needed more individualized care. I wanted to do more and offer exceptional, quality care, making a difference and impacting their life more than I was able to in the school environment. I want to make impressionable memories and offer loving, quality, educational, and individualized care for the children. I want to be the person that cares for your child, from infancy through VPK. I want to lay a strong foundation that will last a lifetime. Most of all, I want the parents to feel confident with my program and the whole-hearted care that I offer to each child.
