Acorn Hollow is a branch of Montessori of Minot, serving children ages 4 months through 12 years of age. Our school opened in 2016. We follow a nature focused curriculum. We employ a self-directed curriculum, meaning that children are free to choose between various math, science, dramatic play, art, language arts, and sensory activities each day and to work on these activities for as long as they desire. We do this by using an emergent curriculum planning process. We are a state-licensed Center. All classes meet or exceed the North Dakota Early Learning Guidelines (Birth-3, and 3-5), preschool classes also meet or exceed the North Dakota PRE-K standards.

Best child care in town from what I have seen. They have natural materials within their rooms, limited "bouncy chairs" type equipment (so a lot of tummy time for my son). The communication on his daily information email is detailed and I also get to see pictures and videos of things that he does in the day. I cannot express how much I love the staff and this child care center!
On March 2nd 2018 My providers DID NOT seatbelt Meadow into her highchair and also DID NOT latch the tray. Meadow was unattended and pushed tray off as it was loose and fell onto the floor. I have pulled my daughter from this daycare after our ER VISIT! The negligence left her face swollen, bruised and a bloody nose from the fall. The employee overturn is insane, training of staff not up to par and communication is lacking. Your child WILL NOT receive the care the need!!
