I want to start by saying I never questioned the safety of my children during their short time at Roxy's daycare. However my overall experience was terrible. My two toddlers 24months (barely two) started their part time program. They attended Wed thur and Fri. Struggling each day. Miss Roxy never had one encouraging report. It was always "they aren't doing well" "they aren't fitting in" On Friday, the third day in her care she made a statement that she believed both of my twins were "on the spectrum." She went on to send me a link to another provider that she thought my kids would be a better fit with. The KC learning center in angola. To my surprise it is a full on autism treatment center. (looks like an amazing program) Neither of my kids have been diagnosed with autisim. As any mother I instantly panicked. Made Dr appointments, couldn't sleep, eat, all I could do was cry and stress. Both my children were cleared by pediatrician of any concern for autisim. They have severe separation anxiety. And Hudson will start speech therapy for a speech delay. Now I was not upset with her over this she was simply wrong in her assumption. What I am upset about is the following. That following Monday was our last day. I took my kids for one hour, it just didn't feel right so I turned around and picked them right back up. I knew caring for my children was putting a stress on her ability to function as a whole within her daycare. They absorbed alot of her attention and it is just her and her husband. When I picked them up she stated she agreed this just was not working. We paid ahead for the month... $800. I questioned on if there would be a refund for time not used because I was aware of the contract and a two week notice. Her reply was "I'm not worried about the money, I will refund any time not used." to be fair this was not working on both ends to the point that she was messaging me other care centers I should try because it would be a "better fit." and that was before I even made the decision to pull them. Now to my surprise it has been reported that there will be $0 refund. They state that I misunderstood our conversation, I did not. They simply changed their mind on refunding. OK. But make it make sense... Part time program opened on a Wed the 9th. They went 9the 10th and 11th for short periods. The following Monday the 14th we went one hour. 200 a week. This has been one of the most terrible experiences thus far with my twins. It's going to take alot of courage to try that again!
