I have used this provider for less than 6 months
When you first enter the facility, you think that it is paradise. But let me shed some light on this fake place. The preschool is filthy and their are never enough supplies to take care of the children.Millie is scared of confrontation and she lies a lot. She is in the wrong profession. She has a nasty daughter that disrespects her workers. She is a nasty privileged brat. Millie does not care about those children. All she cares about is getting a check so she can finance her luxury vacations. She makes her workers wait for their paychecks for hours. And if you every speck up about the abuse occurring here, Millie eliminates you!
I have toured this provider's facility, but have not used its services
This facility does not follow up to date medical evalutaions. My son attends here at first was never beought to my attention due to his mother putting him here with an out of date evalution and prevents a new one. Millie took it upon her self to comment on my custody case with no real knowledge of it and has violated my rights as his father by implying false intentions on the only day i was able to go observe my son there she twisted the situation and didnt get to have the questions i had answered. She let my son run out of the room and made it seem like it was because of me i only stood near the window of the classroom. I consoled my son and he went back in the class. Millie acted as if I was there to take my son due to false information from my son's mother. I am going to court for custody because his schooling and alot of information was kept from me violating my rights as his father. Just to be an emergency contact and be able to pick up my son i had to take legal action because Millie refused to keep our appointment on topic she insisted false motives and accusations of why i was there when I had an arrangement. I dont understand why but she believed a lie and acted on it also becoming suddenly loud and hostile in the class where my son was and other children and insisted i distrupted class but she disnt not keep any word on why i was really there but still in violation of my rights after meeting a first time and proving i was his dad after the mother his information from me and insisted to the school i am an absent father. With out knowing me or the situation better assumtions and accusations were made on Millie's part. I can see also there is a history of her not having the proper evaluations for the kids she has attend.
My grandson was put in this facility by his mother because of false accusations on his development to her advantage and millies world covered for her. Also locked my grandson in the back room away from his father because of the mothers lies. This a a private owned day care . Not state funded and not board of ed certified. Take your kids some where else, they are not safe here.
My daughter has been attending Millie's World now for almost 1 year. Having an older brother also on the Autistic spectrum, we have been through many centers and programs with him. My husband and I love sending Emily to Millie's World. She loves the children she works with. The staff she has hired are the best in their field. My daughter cries if she isn't getting on a bus to go to school. She loves going there and playing with her friends. For those considering sending your child here I highly recommend her. In her program Millie gives each child a binder. In that binder your child's progress is documented daily AND you get to see it daily when the child brings it home each day. She offers a variety of activities for the children. It does not include sitting in a circle the whole day. She has different rooms for different activities. My daughter's favorite is the "gym" room, which includes trampolines. She provides transport to those that need it, we live in the Rockaways and my daughter takes a bus there each morning. Please visit Millie's World and decide for your self.
