Description:
Carter’s Family Childcare is proud of the stability, innovation, and quality that we have brought to the early childhood education of San Diego children for more than ten (10) years. One of the great challenges facing low-income families is finding quality childcare for their children. At Carter’s Family Childcare we give the peace of mind that allows parents to work while knowing their children are well taken care of and on the right path for subsequent success in their educational careers.
Carter’s Family Childcare offers a wide range of constructive experiences for children ages birth through twelve years old, provides a competent and caring staff, and has access to a variety of support services available to parents. Parent participation plays a large role in our programs because we recognize that the family has the most influence on a child's growth and ability to learn.
Our Family Childcare operates on a nondiscriminatory basis and does not base enrollment on race, age, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, physical or mental disability or veteran status.
Our Mission at the Carter’s Family Childcare is to create opportunities for every child to become the future leaders through quality early education.
Some goals of Carter’s Family Childcare are to:
Promote family literacy and parent participation, while providing children a safe environment,
positive emotional support, nutritious meals, stimulation, social interaction, and active involvement in their life.
Provide quality child care services to all families.
Develop new child development spaces with public and private partners.
Provide technical consulting to other organizations or persons seeking to build child care centers or home based.
Keep involved in the surrounding Communities in an effort to help promote family values
