About the Provider

Welcome to Tender Heart Family Child Care. First let me thank you for choosing Tender Heart, and to assure you that you have made the perfect choice for your child. As a parent myself I fully understand a parents concern for the well-being of their child (or children). Tender Heart knows it is a difficult and time consuming effort for parents to find the perfect setting for their children; that is why at Tender Heart we provide a safe, loving and caring environment in which your child will love to learn and develop. Tender Heart believes the Home is where the Heart is and that is why the Family Home Setting is so important in the development of the child. Having a home environment enriches the values of child by not having the institutionalized setting such as desks, large group and timed instruction. In a family home environment, the low number of children is vital to the effective interaction of the teacher (provider) and other children. The Home also provides the relaxed “Home” learning and development environment. A child can relax on the couch or play area with comfort and calm and be encouraged to learn at their own pace and have the provider there to assist when asked upon.

Tender Heart does not participate in any religious instruction of your child, but we ourselves believe in Christianity and have our own personal faith but keep it separate from the learning environment; similar to the separation of church and state principle.

Rates charged for any subsidized childcare are equal to the rate charged for a non-subsidized child.

Again, let me thank you for considering Tender Heart for the care of your child. We look forward to the building of our relationship between you, your child and us.
