Description: The Long Island University (LIU Brooklyn) Advantage Afterschool Program is a DYCD-OST partnership with Ronald Edmonds Learning Center (Middle School 113) dedicated to serving youth and community residents. As a city leader in preparing youth for college and careers, LIU Advantage Afterschool works with the Ronald Edmonds Learning Center students, their families, and educators to identify, recognize, challenge, engage, and help students reach their highest potential.
From 2:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, LIU Advantage Afterschool seeks to strategically support Ronald Edmonds Learning Center (Middle School 113) to offer high quality services through academic enrichment, educational support, physical well-being, leadership and community engagement. Working with ages 11-13, LIU Advantage Afterschool is a free program committed to providing services and programs to meet the individual needs of students. The Office of Institutional Advancement and Student Affairs, with support from LIU students, is committed to ongoing support and growth of the LIU Advantage Afterschool Program and MS 113.
