Do not give these people your money, time, or children to watch. While there are some great teachers, the management is atrocious. The “management” is the owners Breanna and Abby, who do not want to be involved in their business and leave it up to employees to fend for themselves. That is why they have such a high turnover- they treat their employees horribly.
I pulled my child from little sprouts and have seen an improvement in their temperament and health. Do yourself a favor and look up everything they’ve been cited and sued for.
I am a former employee and my child was in care at Little Sprouts. I quit my job because several of the other teachers were incredibly rude and unkind to the children. Having witnessed the lack of supervision, and from several teachers blatant dislike for many of the children, I would absolutely not have trusted my child to be alone in their care if I hadn't been there. Teachers were uneducated and several of them were related to the assistant director, who lived with the owner, so as you can imagine it was very nepotistic. When concerns were brought to management about the behavior of other teachers, they seemed to be taken seriously but there was never any follow-through to make changes, and the behaviors continued. If you didn't know, for somebody to be a "Head Teacher", they only had to have been an assistant for one year in the center, and didn't need to have any other qualifications beyond the basic background check and required trainings (which are basically just "how not to abuse kids" 101 type trainings). So if you make it through a year as an assistant (not hard to do when you're related to management and the worst that happens when you're awful to a child is a talking to), and congrats, you're now a "Head Teacher"! Teachers would trash talk the kids they didn't like, to each other and sometimes in front of the children, and didn't have any training on actual child development or any practical understanding of what was developmentally normal. I personally know of at least four families that removed their children from care there within a month after I quit. While I do know of one teacher that was very consistently kind and cared about the children and being a good teacher, and who I believe is still there, that teacher was also incredibly burnt out and exhausted. Believe me, there is more to say, but the gist of it is, I wouldn't trust that my child was physically (due to lack of supervision) or emotionally safe in their care, and my heart hurts for the children and families that are still there.
The staff were rude and unprofessional. They do not watch the children, they seem more interested in their phones than the children.
I couldn't ask for a better Boss or working atmosphere. If I had Littles this would be the daycare/preschool for me. I love my job.
