This child care facility is under the worst management i have ever seen. They are the most unprofessional team to ever run that facility. Ashley Owens the current director has let a child stay in the facility, even though the child bites, hits, and bullies the other kids. She has been told by the owners that he is supposed to have been gone a long time ago, but because she is close with the mother, she has allowed this child to stay, thus making the classroom that the child is in unsafe for the other children in it. Ashely Owens is too worried about talking about her personal life and sitting in her office with the assistant director, to help out in classrooms when it’s needed. The quality of the facility as a whole is also very poor. Most classrooms are quite literally held together by duck tap, and the single bathroom for the entirety of the kids use is very rarely cleaned and smells strongly of urine and covered in it. the cook there is unfriendly and roughly handles the children, as well as creates drama among the staff. Overall it is one of the worst childcare facilities i have ever encountered.
Edited since so many people have asked. THE DIRECTOR NOR THE OWNER HAVE REACHED OUT. The owner made a post regarding myself and my child via Facebook that was completely unprofessional and inappropriate.
I want to publicly review Little Rascals of Hendersonville.
My 15 month old son just got kicked out for being "aggressive." He has never bit, and I only received ONE note about it. No letter, no phone call, no parent teacher conference. ONE note. And the director told the teacher to write he was aggressive. I'll post a picture of the note below.
Jamie Cardle is the new director and does not know how to run a facility whatsoever. She stated she met with the owners and they decided his last day would Friday. Just randomly decided because the staff is "unsafe." I'll save the eye rolls for later.
They never greet anyone unless it is time to pay your tuition. They also complained my son couldn't keep shoes on so decided to go to Walmart and get him a pair and ask me to pay $10...after I send essentially the same pair and claim he doesn't wear them. But that's fine.
My children also come home with snot noses and messed up hair. Sometimes with food in it. I waited about the tenth time to complain about this one. But, nothing was resolved. They still are a hot mess every afternoon.
I am honestly very laid back and will put up with alot. But. .when it involves my children, get out of the way.
Jamie has had an issue with us and never comes to us except in negative conversation. I have had two teachers message me saying they left due to the new management. That's neither here nor there though.
Only positive thing I can say is it's affordable and the infant teachers were amazing!!!
