I had several problems with this facility. The first one was one day when I picked up my daughter she vomited all over me. I was told she had gotten sick several times over the day and she had been running a fever but I was not contacted. We ended up in the ER that night because her fever had stayed so high for so long she was screaming of a headache. When I asked why I hadn't been notified I was told I could go somewhere else if I didn't like how they did things. Several other little things happened and then my daughter began begging not to go there. When I informed them she wouldn't be coming after the end of the week they packed her stuff up right there and sent us home. Even though I had payed for the whole week and they refused to give me a refund. My daughter still refers to the building as "the school that made her cry"

We used this facility for our 3 children for about 1.5 years a few years ago. I do agree that the director is not pleasant, but that never seemed to affect my children or their experience. They enjoyed the programs, and the sports club. I wan't there every day, and had little interaction with the director, so it wasn't a major concern for me.

I had 1 child in each age range, and was very comfortable with all of them in their groups. I liked that they had the video surveillance, it helped to get everyone out the door and into the car quickly.

It has been awhile since my child went there. (She is 11 now). There was never any problems when my child attended. She LOVED it! They taught her so much that when she went to the early childhood screening in Branson they teacher commented on how smart she was and how much she already knew and I was told my the screener that all of the kids from this preschool scored very, very high on the school screening. My child continues to excel school and she attended her very first dance class while at Little One's Learning Center. She just finished her 5th year of dance at a local dance academy. She has poise, self-esteem and was even a peer-mentor at school last year. She has placed in the top two and three in spelling bees for the last two years at her school! We had a great experience at Little One's Learning Center and I am pursuing an Early Childhood Development Degree and hope to volunteer there.
Signed,
One very satisfied parent!

I am so sad to read the other comment on there about Little Ones Learning Center. I have a 6 1/2 year old son and 3 1/2 year old daughter and we love it. My son has been going since he was 8 weeks old and my daughter started when she was the same age. Now that my son is in school (and I am a teacher) he no longer goes during the school year because he just hangs out with me until it is time to pick up his sister. We have had absolutely no problems with the staff or their practices in the almost 7 years we have been going there. My children never complain about what goes on during the day and learn a lot. My son was reading before he started Kindergarten and my daughter is on pace to do the same. Like I said, I'm a teacher, so I know the kinds of questions to ask my kids about their day to find out what went on. Personally, I like the camera they have watching the parking lot, mentioned by the other commentor. It means I don't have to stand and wait 10 minutes for my child to be ready. I've never felt it was weird or that they were hiding anything. The staff truly care for both of my children. Two of the teachers cried when my son "graduated" because he had spent his whole life there! He still likes to go in and show off how grown up he is! :)

I'm sorry for what happened to the other commentor, but I felt compelled to write something positive about this facility. I feel 100% safe, confident, and happy sending my children there and have never hesitated dropping them off for the day!

Do NOT take your children to this facility. It raises so many red flags. First of all, parents are not allowed beyond a drop off door in front of the facility. There is no menu posted of what your child eats, there is no curriculum outline, and if you ask anything about it, the staff gets defensive. There are cameras outside so that staff will know to get your child ready before you even step inside the building (very weird). You can never get the director on the phone… either she is not there, busy, or does not return calls. She has a horrible attitude and does not care. She doesn't even let First Steps program conduct therapy for delayed children there. Recently my son had another child bite him on the hand. He had a purple bruise on his hand and some bloody digs around the middle of his fingers about an inch above his knuckles. My mother picked him up and she was told that another child bit him, was not given an incident slip, and the director said, “Well, they ARE little” and laughed – kind of shrugging it off. I wrote a letter due to my heavy work schedule asking what was done about the situation because I did not want it shrugged off. I asked if the other child’s parents were notified. I asked if the child was reprimanded for his behavior, what I meant was placed in time out or spoken to about it. The director wrote me a response saying I was obviously not happy with their care and was told I had one week to find another daycare for my child. Why? I was just questioning the situation, but apparently a parent is not allowed to do this. The director said that my child had been chewing on his fingers and that the only mark from the other child was a purple bruise, the rest of the marks, my child had come into the facility with and that the child that bit my son was of none of my concern. She said I seemed to want corporal punishment for the other child, which is insanely ridiculous. All I wanted was to be reassured that the other child’s parents were talked to about the situation to prevent it from happening again in the future. Once again I will NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE. The director knows it all and if you question her, she will inconvenience you or kick your child out as she has done to me.
