I have used this provider for more than 6 months

If I could give this establishment negative stars I would!! I’ve seen the director as well as managers degrade the teachers in front of parents and visitors! The director Christine is absolutely stuck in her ways. I’ve picked up my son and heard comments like, “you’re a little brat aren’t you?” this was a question asked to a child in front of me…..here I am, someone who was there to pick up their child, hearing this! Comments like these were made to children, teachers and parents regardless of who was around. The last straw was when I witnessed the director tell a teacher that they were a “liar, stupid, not worth the money they get paid among other things, she (the director) was shaking and then she told (screamed at)the employee to “Shut the hell up” when they attempted to defend their position, needless to say I pulled my son out of there as soon as I witnessed this, it was the last straw to me! This poor teacher was being called out in front of her class, other teachers, management and strangers like me. The director Christine is very unprofessional and needs some therapy.

Please don’t send your child there, they will be degraded and their self esteem will be shattered, turns out my son had been wetting the bed again a few months after enrollment so after I pulled him from this place he began telling me of some inexcusable situations that he had dealt with that he was afraid to tell me and now he is in therapy at 4 yrs old! Thanks for that LL2L, your facility should be shut down!!

Little Links Learning - Fort Wright KY
Christine is the owner of the above mentioned place. In today’s world there isn’t a better childcare to have your children, if you want them to have the best possible outcome for them, other than the exception of being such an informed parent who has unbelievable talent in every area of life, that they themselves can provide the necessities to prepare their own child for life during the short time of being a baby all the way to entering school. Then add the safety of the child and you will begin to have an idea of how extremely special and exceptional Little Links is. Of course one wants to know who’s writing this? At 73, retired at 48, with 4 accountable caretaker giving children, 2 male and 2 female, having worked from grade school until retirement at a huge variety of places, from policeman, postman, CEO, etc., I might have a bone in this discussion? Oh, perhaps good or bad, I’m a male too. I even home schooled them for a while too until high school. Perhaps starting with, Christine might come off as anal retentive, would be appropriate to discuss? Certainly that can be problematic, yet it also, in this case too, is positive in many ways. Being an employee might be difficult under such employers, however in defense of that, in order to run a profitable tight safe exceptional business, this would error on being necessary, as everyone’s need for work even Christine’s too. Could Christine benefit on getting some social skills to curb her directness? Certainly, but there’s nothing close to this exceptional daycare business that I’ve even seen or found, that come close to the perfection that is exhibited here in every detail. That is a rare talent that people like Christine exhibits. Safety measures that go way beyond others! Demands of the quality of care and reporting to parents that are unbeatable! Oh, and yes that demands a lot from an employee that are paid very well for being qualified to do that and held rigidly accountable for every one of their actions for that pay. How great to pretend we all do it for the love and the caring we have, but stop the BS, no one would do it for free or should we expect them to. If one is easily offended, perhaps forget Little Links as a place for your child that can’t be found elsewhere, and let your children get much less in another much less qualified place. If you’re able to do what’s best for your children, then this is perhaps the only option. Unfortunately, the one thing maybe you’ll have to deal with is Christine’s directness and no tolerance of how Little Links is to be run. She is a high achiever and will accept nothing less from parents, employees, or herself than perfection to insure the child’s safety and all the benefits of learning one can obtain at such an important time of their lives. It will set the children’s roots deep and strong, giving them many advantages in the life that they live. Christine has made her business a passion of her life. Thankfully, many will prosper in inconceivable ways for her dedication. I have briefly met Christine, but researched her business in depth. You won’t fine another close to this one! If you’re privileged to partake in her childcare and appreciate all she has done to make it the best, then you already know all this. Thanks to the exceptional qualified employees that are willing to put up with Christine’s direct-fulness, in order to give the love and wonderful care to the children too. Remember though, she pays exceptionally well too. My first grandson is one of the fortunate ones to be receiving such great care from these outstanding employees. Christine deserves the credit for all this for having the unbelievable patience to put it all together and keep it going!

Former employee here! I'd like to share my experience at Little Links in hopes that it will discourage any parents that are looking for childcare to send their children here. I genuinely believe your children would be safer anywhere else than here. Children in Christine's care have been exposed to toxic paint thinner fumes, which she neglected to inform the parents about and instead sent the children outside for 5 hours. The kid's safety is often overlooked if it means that Christine could lose even a penny. As far as working here, I'm at a loss for words. I loved the kids I taught and it's truly something I'm passionate about, but as soon as you step outside of the classroom you are disrespected and degraded. Employees are told they aren't allowed to throw their tampons in the trash, they're expected to walk them to a dumpster. Employees are given parking based on popularity and anyone who doesn't kiss up, is expected to park at Walmart and walk. I had a parking spot for medical reasons that they decided I would no longer have without informing me. Employees are told they aren't allowed to use trash cans for their garbage, any garbage they have has to be walked to a dumpster. When the Dairy Queen next door decided they weren't going to give Christine free parking, she went on a racist rant due to the fact that the family happened to be Indian. "He probably won't give us parking because they don't respect women in his country" is just one of the phrases she used. I'm sure there will be a reply with something along the lines of me being a "disgruntled employee", which is okay. I attempted to give my two weeks noticed today and was instead told that I needed to leave effective immediately. I'm more than relieved that I never have to step foot in that building again and I highly recommend anyone looking for a job or care for their child run far, far away
