I am deeply upset with what has happened. However, my child has been there since she was 2 months old and is 2 now. Every teacher has been so loving to my daughter and I have never had to worry. I cried today as this was the last day and my daughter will no longer get to see the friends she has made there and has seen every day for the last 2 years. I now have to try and trust complete strangers with my child in an environment that does not feel homey and comfy but a strict school. I love and will miss all the teachers and employees from The Nest.
I would give you no stars for this! You're a disgrace for allowing this to happen to this innocent baby. First off, those girls are not licensed professional teachers nor mature enough to be working with children. I hope you get shut down. I feel terrible for the mother and baby boy. Those girls should have charges filed against them for child abuse. Unprofessional! Makes me sick!
If they had an option for 0 Stars I would have put that instead. I live in the community and to hear that a disgusting situation of them allowing their employees to degrade, record and make fun of a poor innocent child, is absolutely ridiculous!!! They should go out of business. With the Director trying to cover it up and not tell the parents about what happened, there's no telling what kind of child abuse went out in this company before that we don't know of. I really hope that this company gets shut down!! They are not worthy of trust!!
If I could give you a zero I would!! How dare you treat an innocent baby the way you let those two teachers do! And then fire the teacher that informed the parents! Glad I never have to leave my children with people like you
What you let happen to that baby by YOUR DAUGHTER is HORRIBLE. Regardless of family or not the situation should have been handled properly and you were too much of a coward to even tell the parents. Firstly, it is ILLEGAL to record/post pictures of a CHILD without the parents consent. Secondly, it was just downright WRONG for your employees to harass the baby the way they did. and finally, it was IMMENSELY terrible of you to FIRE an employee for doing the RIGHT thing by TELLING the parent. You should be ashamed of yourselves, your employees and your business. Here’s to your business crashing & burning.
What a pitiful excuse for a business that claims to care for children. “*UPDATE: A report has been filed with the state, the local police and 2 news stations.*

I wasn’t going to bring this to Facebook. I was going to try to allow Lisa Hues to do the right thing, but instead she didn’t. So now I want to be known for all the other children.
I received a phone call yesterday from my sons primary teacher, Natalie. He’s 6 months old and is in the infant class. Last Thursday my son had an upset tummy and had diarrhea running up his back and was throwing up at the same time. Natalie was pulled from the class to go assist else where so he was left in the care of Ms. L and Kennedy, two other teachers, when this happened. Instead of either of them cleaning my child, who clearly can’t help what happened, they decided to each film him on snap chat.
The first video was of Ms. L holding him on the floor. Kennedy was filming and they were both busting out laughing screaming how gross it was. The video zoomed in on the poop running up his back and his vomit on the floor and the caption read, “I don’t want kids anymore.” The second video was of Ms. L filming and Kennedy holding my son mid air under his armpits, both laughing stating “still got baby fever!?” As my poor child is dangling there covered in his own feces and vomit. They made my child out to be a joke.
Natalie saw this and was immediately upset. She screen recorded both snap chats and took it to both directors, one of them who is Kennedy’s mom. These girls were not fired, instead Natalie was ridiculed. And my husband and I were never notified. Natalie allowed 4 days for the daycare to reach out to us and they never did. Had it not been for her I would of never known. In fact she put in her 2 weeks because she was so upset they were allowing my sweet boy to be degraded and disrespected like this.
I went to drop him off this morning and waited for the director on duty, Dawn, to say something. She didn’t. So instead I explained to her that I know and I have the videos on my phone. I expressed how upset I am because my defenseless 6 month old was used as entertainment for these girls and all their friends on social media. I also mentioned that I texted the owner, Lisa, yesterday and I never got a response and that I strongly suggest she call me because my husband is ready to file a complaint for negligence with the state and I’m trying to allow the opportunity to prevent that. Dawn apologized however I felt no sympathy for the way my child was treated. And when I explained how I felt he was being made fun of she was quick to make excuses for the two girls. Also, the response I got about it being swept under the rug was, “We didn’t intentionally not tell you that’s just the way it happened.”
Within the next 30 minutes Lisa texted and said she’d call this afternoon. We still haven’t heard from her.
I was so sick to my stomach leaving my baby with people that don’t respect his well being so I texted Natalie and asked that she please collect his belongings because he would no longer be attending.
When I went to go pick him not one additional word was said. No additional apology. Nothing. Right as I was pulling into my drive way, I received another call from Natalie. She had just been fired for notifying me of the incident.
All I could do was apologize. She lost her job for standing up for my son, while the other 2 girls got to keep theirs.
There is no telling how many people on their snap chats saw my child like that, or what was said behind to scenes.
This day care was highly recommended to me so this is the last thing I thought would happen. If your children go there, just know these are the people your leaving to care for them.
I will not post the videos of my baby because I feel he has been degraded enough as it is.” -Tori Rude
I have toured this provider's facility, but have not used its services
Ms. L & Ms. Kennedy (teachers here, sadly) are extremely unprofessional with no compassion for children! They both dangled a 6 month old child by his arms while he was sick (vomiting & diarrhea) without cleaning him right away, & instead thought it would be a great idea to Snapchat this poor baby to warn others of how gross this sick child is. Their actions are totally unprofessional, cold hearted, & just plain disgusting! They also didn’t get fired either bc one of the girls’ mother is a DIRECTOR at the facility. Don’t trust this place with your children. Your children might end up on social media which btw is ILLEGAL without the parent’s consent. This place needs to be shut down.. ????
Fb page gone! No problem... This doesn't go away! Y'all are disgusting! I'm so glad there was someone there to speak up for this innocent baby your employees exposed on social media. I hope the state steps in soon. I'm glad this aired on ABC 13 tonight for everyone to see!
The staff abuses babies and records it while laughing. The director and coordinator fired the employee that told the parents instead of firing the abusive staff. Do not send your children here to be abused by these disgusting people.
I wouldn’t even give this place 1 star! You people are scum for allowing your teenage workers to film a defenseless little boy. I wouldn’t even leave my dog here. Scum!
I would give you NO stars if I could! What happened to that little boy was downright ugly, immoral, disrespectful, and hateful. You let your employees post a pic and video of a parents child without the parents consent and what worse is that child was being abused and humiliated in said video. Just because he is a baby does NOT give you any right to harass him and humiliate him the way you let those wretched girls do. And then to top it all off you go and fire Natalie who had the common courtesy to TELL THE PARENTS WHAT HAPPENED! And let the other girls off Scott free... How can you sleep at night, how can you run a child care facility. Who even knows if this was an isolated incident! You guys are in some rough waters now. Why was handling the situation the appropriate way so difficult? Because one of the girls who did this is your daughter? Well congratulations because now you are both going down instead of just the girls who did this. You could have continued your business, you could have given that child justice, but instead you were a cowered and could not confront the problem. How dare you let this happen to a BABY?!
Fire an employee for alerting a parent about at the very least less than professional behavior? That definitely wasn't the right choice!! The people who filmed this child covered in his own feces are lucky, most parents would have put their hands on the parties responsible for that. Your company better respond, AND QUICK. Social media is a very powerful tool these days. Do the right thing, or the masses will shut you down. You won't get a say. In one day there are 1500 posts about what happened to that child. Don't you guys have any kind of social media policy in place regarding your employees at the very least? If you do not fix this, you are a horrible company, and you do not deserve any business from anyone. Just a heads up, I don't know any one in Texas at all, I only know of this from researching it after coming across a post on social media. I am 2000 miles away from your location in Indiana. Get in front of this, I can tell based on how these kinds of things play out from support of hundreds(it's looking like in 4 or 5 hours it will be thousands) of people... If you don't get in front, you(the owners) can put the little jackets nest behind you. Good luck.

Pros: They have caring teachers, with small teacher-child ratio. They have really cool activities for the kids, and their Pre-K program is great.
Cons: Have to provide your child's lunch, the hours didn't work with our schedules, and they are pricier compared to the other day cares in town who provide hot breakfast and lunches. I didn't feel like my concerns were taken seriously, and we made the decision to remove the children from the daycare and decided to give them courtesy of a two weeks notice, only to find out the director had called another family and filled our spots, and needed us to leave the next day. Needless to say, I was put in a bind to find alternate care, and decided to make the same day I officially told the day care we were leaving. I had never been so disappointed in my life, and couldn't believe the director/owner made that decision to call the other family without first knowing when we were officially withdrawing our children.

This is what happens when unskilled workers are left to take care of children, glad they closed down.
