The director put ankle weights on my infant when because she didn't want to walk. It was her second day there and she wanted to be held. She also came home with a bloody nose that could not be explained by the director. The director is was rude an arrogant, stating that she has done the same to many children over the years. Kids were running class to class at pick up. Take your kids somewhere better.
I had my children here for a couple months. As a single mother it was cheaper.. but you get what you pay for.
I would drop my child off and they would put him in front of a TV and I would pick him up in front of a tv...he was always filthy from the outside "play" area. I as also told they could help with potty training however my older children would say they would put my youngest in time out when they had an accident in the dirty cloths. Them owners children would just hang out and was rude and disrespectful. He would call my daughter fat and ugly and was never disciplined for it.
Worst of allthe owner would charge me for days I was not aloud to bring my child.. she would send home employees and claim she did not have enough to watch my child because she wanted money! She called me every other weeks claiming my child was sick and I needed to pick him up. Even with a doctors note saying it was allergies and he was not contagious I was not aloud to bring him and was charged.
Worst daycare!!
I had my child enrolled here for 3 months and it was very dissatsifying, to say the least.
I was promised a handful of things at enrollment.. a few for example were that Marcy, the owner, could potty train my child in two weeks and that I would be given art work weekly from my child's time in the classroom.
I cannot tell you how many times I arrived to pick up my little one and came in to see my child sitting in a high chair watching television and in a dirty diaper! My child had come home with dirty diapers countless times. It was so ridiculous, my child's bottom came home with a bloody rash once. I would have to treat a rash every night. The problem was never taken seriously. They simply were not checking his diaper for this to happen. And did I also mention that he was never even attempted to potty train?
I also only ever received 1 piece of my child's art work. Even though they were supposedly doing art work everyday during class room time.
Another thing that bothered me is that my child's lunch box (they don't provide meals or snacks) would always come home with food it. I worked 10 hour days sometimes my child would be there from 7am to 7pm, there is no reason there should have been as much food left as there was. I don't feel like my child was getting help eating the food I packed or enough time to eat it.
My child was never happy to go to daycare; never grew to like the instructors or owner and I feel it was because my child was neglected.
I would no longer pay to have my 18 month old babysat by a television and left to sit in a dirty diapers. For a hundred more dollars I can have my child get the care every child ldeserves at a better facility with a nicer play yard and with a sense of security I did not have at Little Hugs LLC.
My family and I love this place! Great establishment and great rates. My child has been there over a year and we have not had any complaints. As far directors go..... I only recall one and it was not this lady. Research with other parents and you will be happy with your decision.
This childcare facility is a very bad establishment. please be careful I was the director and was not allowed to work due to they did not want to pay me. I was concerned with the care of the children and stated my concerns and owner was not willing to change and safety issues and the food preparation was not safe or nutitional. I had my granddaughter there and I was not pleased withe the treatment the children were called bad or brats in front of children. the owner is not educated in any early childhood education. i have 30 years experience and I was sad to see that Texas child care lisencing would allow for this place to continue to stay open. The owner has been reported twice to child protective services. BEWARE investigate!!!
