Little Blessings Childcare and Learning Center

This has to be the worst daycare in Lamar county. I know 5 people that have worked there in the last year and they have told me some of the worst experiences you could have. If a child has a fever, pink eye, or any reason to get sent home, the owner refuses to call their parents even when they should be notified of something about their kids, on multiple occasions, employees paychecks have bounced, so much that they have to cash it at her bank and try to get there before the other workers to raise their chances of getting paid. The turnover rate of employees is insane. 29(TWENTY NINE) employees have quit at some point in the past 10 months. I’ve heard of employees working there before they took their background checks, employees yelling at, grabbing, and even hitting kids there as well as just neglecting the kids in their rooms while playing on their phones or talking to one another. The owner is very unorganized, she gossips about her employees and the parents of the kids attending her daycare. She publicly embarrassed one of the parents in front of the other parents at the daycare, and has done the same thing to her employees. Just an outright awful daycare. Anyone that knows anything about that daycare would agree 100%

My 1 yr old granddaughter attended this daycare. There have been a couple of occasions that my daughter picked her up and my granddaughter had a scratch on the side of her face and no one could tell her what happened she has picked her up and found her to be broke out in a rash, no phone call to let her know then 2 days ago she picked her up and she has DRIED BLOOD on her right eye and a bruise to the right side of her head! No one knew what happened! The response she got was well the lady taking care of her today is already gone!!!! My daughter took her to the ER and thankfully my granddaughter is ok. My granddaughter will not ever go back to this place! When my daughter went to pick up my granddaughters belongings this morning there was 1 person for each class and they had 2 classes combined my daughter said they were very short staffed. When I spoke to the owner she told me that she always has 2 people for each class then in the same breath also told me that they don’t ALWAYS know when things happen because if the employee is changing a diaper they may not see what’s going on behind them. So apparently she lied because she just said she has 2 people for each class, if one is changing a diaper the other should have eyes on the other children. Parents please think twice before enrolling your child to this place. Thank God my granddaughter is ok and no longer attending here but I sure do worry about the other children that are. If 0 stars was an option I would have chose that. They don’t even deserve 1 star as far as I’m concerned

There are not enough words to express how thankful we are for Little Blessings. Chayanna and all of her staff are over and beyond wonderful to all of the kids. I wouldn't trust any other daycare in town more than them with my children.

The owner is childish and has a very bad attitude and the employees are also childish. They are not very attentive to their children, they gossip about other children and people. I would not recommend this daycare to anyone. I'm giving them 1 star only because they don't give an option for 0 stars.
