PARENTS THIS IS A WARNING..
If I could give a negative number, I would. On June 1st, my daughter was enrolled in Little Scholars on Avenue U.
On June 7th, my child was attacked by another child for about 10 minutes and ended up with a full mouth bite mark on her face near her mouth. At 3 something, Ms. Nikki (who isn't her teacher) called me to tell me my child was bitten and there is a mark. I asked where was the 2 teachers in the room. Ms Nikki said that the intercepted the bite that it was quick. I said send me the picture. I was livid at what I saw. It was definitely a chomp down hold that no way anyone intercepted. Ms. Nikki got all defensive saying this happens and it's normal. I asked to speak with the daycare Director. Apparently she wasnt in.. I said I need to speak to someone immediately. Nikki claimed that she couldn't reach her. I left work to go pick up my baby. When I get there, the director or no one was notified. I questioned Nikki again and I taped her this time. And she gave me more attitude and said she stopped it. I said since you guys can't locate any authority. I will call the cops for authority because I need to see the video tape. All of a sudden the Director gets to the building when the cops came.
The cops escorted me as I saw the video. I sobbed. It was TRAUMATIZING. It was worst than I thought. This little boy was bullying other kids before he got to my baby started hitting her in the head for like 5 minutes straight in the view of both teachers who were not with other kids. They were fiddling with papers and they didn't noticed. Then he chomped down on her face as Nikki walked by her. She proceeded to call kids to the mat as my baby cried. She still didn't notice or care. Proceeded to do her lesson and all this happened in the morning. While the call I received was in the afternoon. Also, everytime she was being dropped off, a kid was running out the room unnoticed sometimes. If 2 teachers can't handle 12 kids, get new teachers or less kids. It was complete NEGLIGENCE. And I saw the teachers assistant complaining to this child parent about his behavior before. So they knew this kid had issues keeping his hands feet and mouth to himself. NEGLIGENCE.
Up to now no one of authority have called me to explain or try to rectify the situation. I never received an incident report. I want allllll my money back. They haven't responded to my lawyer so now I have to take the necessary steps.
I will not send my child back to that establishment
