My name is Laura, and I'm the owner of Lil Ducklins Daycare, in Thurmont, MD. I believe that kids should be kids for as long as possible, and run my daycare accordingly. If you are looking for a small, loving, and homey daycare for your child, then look no further! I teach the basics of ABC's, 123's, Shapes, Colors, Opposites, Months, Seasons, Animals, and anything else that catches their interest. We also read stories, spend time coloring and creating, dance, and have lots of outdoor discoveries in our large fenced in yard.

I've known Laura for more than 7 years, both personally and professionally. She is warm, caring and hard-working and she keeps a tidy, safe and cozy house. As an amazing cook who is very conscious about ensuring that her own son eats a healthy and balanced diet, you can be certain that she'll always have something delicious on the menu for your children’s meals and snacks. I would trust Laura with my own children in a heartbeat and I plan to use her as my drop-in daycare whenever possible. If we lived closer to each other, my children would be in her full-time care, as there’s no one I would trust more with their wellbeing and safety!
Ms. Laura's Daycare is incredibly accommodating and priced well. The schedule for the children is well thought out and the curriculum is well rounded. The childcare room (as well as the entire house) is clean and comfortable as well. Her policies are clear and fair. Great daycare option!
