Description: Head Start/ECEAP is a comprehensive child-development program designed to increase school readiness in young children ages 3 - 5. Income guidelines are between 100-130% of the federal poverty guidelines for Head Start and 110% for ECEAP. Early Head Start is a federally funded community-based program for low-income families with infants, toddlers and pregnant women. It promotes healthy prenatal outcomes for pregnant women, enhances the development of very young children, and promotes healthy families.
