I have used this provider for less than 6 months

Our daughter joined Laugh and Learn Academy when was 21 months, the Director toured the facility with me and was welcoming and proud of her business. I was excited to have our daughter join her program.
After just one day we noticed issues with our daughter's behavior, she screamed at drop off and was emotional to the point of tears at pick up. She would scream "NOOOO" on our way into the parking lot once she realized we were at the daycare. She has been in daycare programs before and has never showed behaviors like this. She is friendly and outgoing and will go to anyone except the women in this facility.
In the first 2 weeks there were 3 incidents, any of the incidents on their own would not seem alarming but as they piled up they began to create concern with my husband and I. The first incident was a large bruise covering the entire surface of our daughter's foot, I did not receive an incident report and I understand that accidents happen so I did not report this incident to the Director. A couple days later my Mother picked my daughter up from school and found her screaming with two large bumps on her head, my Mother was told that she fell off a bike on the playground and that I would receive an incident report after the long weekend, I did not. Another time my daughter came home in another child's clothes and our daughter's clothes were not recovered. Not to mention one of every two outfits sent to school comes home ruined from messy school provided lunches, children under 2 years should be given bibs or something to cover their clothes when they eat so their clothes aren't ruined.
The final straw was walking into daycare to find my daughter crying hysterically with a tear-drenched shirt. I asked the care taker what was wrong and she told me that my daughter wasn't familiar with her and was upset. The second I touched her it was clear she had a very high fever. When I got home and took her temperature she was over 102! No one called or even seemed to care that she was ill, it left me wondering if she was sitting at school with a high fever crying all day. Anyone could see her red cheeks and if they would have come within a foot of her burning hot tiny body they would have felt the heat coming off of her. I called the Director to report the incident and she told me she would address in a staff meeting. She was trying to push me off the phone as quickly as she could and showed so little concern. She was more interested in telling me that she was at an appointment when it happened and trying to shift blame.

I could not bring myself to take our daughter there another day. I called to tell the Director that we would not be coming back to the daycare and she was extremely short with me. My husband later called to find out why she wasn't going to refund our paid tuition for the month and she verbally attacked him and accused him of making up the incidents and eventually hung up on him. She quickly validated our decision to remove our daughter from this dangerous situation. I do not feel there is adequate attention being provided to the small children in this facility and would caution anyone looking at this provider. Parents beware.
