I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Several minor complaints, but the good outweighs the bad for me.

Some good:
- Pickup the kid from school on time
- Kid doesn't complain about the time spent there; other kids and staff are friendly enough
- One of the staff is in school to become a teacher, my kid really likes this person
- Snacks provided (although sometimes my kid says a snack wasn't provided on some days, not sure how true this is)
- Time and assistance is provided to get homework done
- Toys, playtime and recreation provided, as well as holiday themed parties
- There is a yard where kids can play outside
- Flexible pricing - only charged for days kid is there instead of a fixed price for the week
- Very reasonable daily rate
- The part about "Care is available during non-traditional hours" is important for me, as sometimes I work late.

Some bad:
- No doorbell on house
- No sign on house identifying it as a DayCare facility (Blown off during Hurricane Sandy, older Google map photo of the house shows the sign)
- Cats in the house (not a problem for me, as my kid is not allergic and the cats are friendly and clean)
- One of the cars used to pickup the kids is owned by a cigarette smoker, kid does not like the smell
- I wouldn't call the place "dirty and disgusting", but it could be cleaner
- Sometimes when I double check the kid's homework, some of it is incorrect
- At the time my kid started, they had some outstanding minor issues with the Division of Child Care Services, but I am happy to see that these have since been corrected.

Ms reid. Director 2015-01-24 00:01:48

Hello parents. I am ms Reid the director of lady bug day care. I recently saw a bad review from a Johanna, however this is completely false information. We have never had a Johanna as a child or parent in our facility. It is unfortunate that someone would try to hurt a person's business out of jealousy or other maliciousness. We provide excellent service to our children and are proud of our success over the past six years. If you are interested in real and accurate reviews you can give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you
