My first impression of this facility has me stunned. I had to drop off children and had a few questions for the staff. I was told to speak to the director which was standing nearby and was so turned off it was ridiculous. I asked simple, general questions and was told that he does not speak to third parties. I am an adult as he is and did not ask anything personal. Questions pertained to the time the facility opened and how the bus runs. I would never have my child attend this facility. I left feeling like there was something to hide there that they did not want anyone to know. On top of the fact the teacher of the children's class appeared to be a child herself (Although she was very polite). As I read the other reviews I see that how I left feeling was not wrong because if a staff member could write a review as rude as the one I read, that answered everything. It does matter that the childcare has no violations, however, what matters most is the way you make a person feel when your caring for their loved ones. Whether your statement was true or not (which will definitely be looked into), it was very unprofessional to say the least.
The owner and administrators are extremely rude and unprofessional. They had no problem being disrespectful to parents. I've also witnessed them be demeaning to their own staff in front of children, co workers and parents. Almost everytime I picked my child up I noticed that the child to teacher ratio was off by a lot. Ex.10-11 toddlers with one teacher. This led me to believe that my child could not be properly watched/taken cared off. The actual teachers did care a lot about the children and seem to try their best but but also seemed very overwhelmed because there was not enough staff or help. I also disliked the fact that there was a high turnover in staff, which is a sign of it not being a healthy positive workplace. I did not like that my child seemed to always have a new teacher. Thanks for reading my review and I hope it helps you look deeper into who is your childcare provider
If it was possible I wouldn't give any stars .highly disappointed in the whole center .When asked questions about my child why his crib was not labeled or why he had no projects done I was met wit attitudes from both administrators.the building had a bad smell the outside decor was horrible to say the least the playground was subpar .Just disappointed in staff and center.
If you know that your child is being picked up at 6:45 on a regular basis by Provider then why NOT try to be at your with your child ready to go. I was a Center Director for years and the transportation dept has very tight timeframes and is not an easy dept. Your issue could be remedy by simply being at the door with your child ready to go. Not trying to sound harsh but maybe you should look at NYS website; the Center has no violations and this speaks volumes.
Driver of the bus that transports the kids continues to ignore my concerns about continually blowing the buses air horn outside my home at 6 45am. The dept of motor vehicles says that the horn on a bus should only be used in case of an emergency. If they cant follow this simple law I am curious as to what other rules or laws this center has decided it doesnt need to follow?
