Cadence Academy Preschool of Bay Creek

On Monday, I was confronted in a rudely manner by an employee. She proceeded to tell me about the name to face chart , and I responded casually, and stated that I already knew about it because Tika had already explained and went over it a few minutes before she had walked in. She then proceeded to talk over me and respond rudely and said if you already did this before you would know to fill it out. Mind you, I had only been at the job for only roughly around 30-45 minutes, and had just learned about it not too long before she walked in. So, as she getting even more rude, I walked to the front to avoid the situation escalating. I then went over orientation and protocol with Ms.Amy for about 45 minutes to a hour later. After, I waited for Tika to walk back to the room. When Tika and I entered the classroom, Kia then yells out “let me talk to you outside” as soon as I walk in. Me and Tika are saying to her “Ms.Amy need you in the front”. She then walks up to me and says “okay but I ask you can we talk outside”. I then agreed to talk to her. When we went outside we were talking and then Kia proceeds to tell me very disrespectfully “I have kids in middle and high school your age.” I then responded respectfully and said “I’m not in Highschool I have a diploma and is in college.” She then grab me and turn me to the wall putting her hands on me and in my face responding and saying “okay well, I’m old enough to be your mom. I was raised with two parents and was taught to not disrespect my elders, and would never talk the way you talk.” When I never once disrespected her or even raised my voice. After she said that, I then start to get upset and walk away because I felt disrespected and very uncomfortable at the moment. She then kept following me forcing me to talk to her when I ask nicely can she give me my space to calm down. She still kept nagging and picking with me, so I grab my belongings and exit the classroom to avoid conflict and go talk to Ms.Amy once again. As I’m standing at the front desk talk to Ms.Janet , she is in the office talking to Ms.Amy. That’s when she saw me and proceeded to drag the incident even further, nagging, being rude , and still forcely telling me to come talk to her. As I’m still telling her to give me my space, and that’s when things got heated, and I asked Ms.Amy can I return tomorrow because it was alot for my first day, and was unexpected.

It had only been my first day, and I was told I can’t come back when I did nothing wrong while they allowed her to get in my face, touch me , and cause a disturbance. Then I’m only 19 and she’s 35,so I feel as if she was trying to belittle me and pick on me because I am young. I was treated very poor, wrong, and unfairly.
