Description: It is the philosophy of KCLA that early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploring, and discovery. Preschool children are creative and receptive. Preschool purpose is to provide an atmosphere that encourages social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth and development of the child as a whole. The staff strives to nature and encourage these qualities in the children who attend. Planned within the framework of the philosophy and purpose, KCLA curriculum includes sharing, conversation time, stories, songs, finger plays, creative art activities, and games for large and fine motor skill development. We also provide field trips throughout the community (school aged children only) ,seasonal science and nature activities, exposure to shapes, colors, numbers and letters.

I am Ms Gigi. So sorry that I spent 22 months at this school. This is not my proudest job. This daycare is very sad. Look around when you are touring...you may encounter black mold. Also this school has been visited so many times by CPS (parents called) for teachers being way out of ratio. The director is racist. There is a reason that the teachers say, "Let me check your childs diaper before you leave" because they've had the same diaper on for 3 hours!!! Please, cheap maybe, but there is a reason they are cheap!! As a concerned parent please GO somewhere else!
My daughter has been attending since she was 6 months old. She is now 5 and is very prepared for the “bid” school. This school is very hands on great with social skills. I highly recommend KCLA! Very clean and professional.
I took my 1st daughter here and stayed up to preK. She loved this place and love love their staff. They very helpful and very understanding. Ms. B is awesome! Now I came back with my 2 young girls. My 20 months old daughter been there since she was 12 months and my youngest one since she was 2 months old. They care for my children very well and my 20 month old learns really good. She surprise me all the time the things she says and do. I love love this place and will recommend them to anyone that is looking for child care.
This is a Great Daycare, very Clean, Staff and Director is very professional and sweet, my children love it here and teachers are very hands on, Highly recommend it!!!!!

This facility is a great and convenient child care center. My daughter is 4 and has been attending for a year now and so far I have no complaints. She enjoys her teachers and classmates, she has been learning much more than she was at the last day care, and the field trips are an added bonus for the kids. I like that the staff has some of their own children attending bc the same way they treat their own is how they treat mine. Only reason I rated it a 4 instead of 5 is bc no place is perfect and I think they can do a little better with communicating on a daily about the things they did. Sometimes i get a weekly report of what she learned each day n if she took a nap n ate all her lunch but its never steady. I wish it was more consistent. Other than that the price is far more cheaper than anywhere else in the area, it is very clean, director n teachers are super nice, and my daughter is happy. I reccommend it :-)

Very poor daycare. My children were deathly afraid of this place. I thought it as just an adjustment issue but my child complained that the daycare was "hurting" him. My child came home with several bruises and no accident report was ever given. The place smells horrible and is very unclean. My child also came home with a staff infection that had to be treated by a doctor. There is something going on in this daycare that needs to be investigated. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE. Oh an my car was hit and run by one of the parents as well and the daycare wouldn't even assist me in the name of the parent.
