Description: KIDS ACADEMY DAYCARE--AN IMAGINATION CELEBRATION! State Licensed since 1995. Full Time and Before & After School Care. 7 am - 5:30 pm Monday - Friday. Drop-in care available. SRS Accepted. Academic, Social, & Life Skills lessons. Kindergarten Readiness. Nutritious meals and snacks. Playground onsite. Fun & Friendship. Kids Academy Daycare currently has open enrollment for children 2 to 4 years old. My two favorite reasons for providing child care are 1) providing "magical moments" for the children and 2) providing them daily lessons and curriculum. 1) I enjoy giving the children memories that will last a life time. Childhood is a magical time, and I like to enhance this by providing a special theme day each week, having birthday parties, Easter Egg Hunts, Halloween parties, Christmas parties with Santa, etc. 2) I pride myself in teaching my daycare children all the skills they will need to enter kindergarten successfully. My students are taught: the weather, seasons, days of the week, months of the year, numbers and counting, the alphabet, colors, shapes, writing, reading, sight words, music and rhythm, Spanish, American Sign Language, how to dress themselves and tie their shoes, how to clean up after themselves and other life skills as well as social and emotional skills. I have two year olds that can recite for you the seasons, days of the week, and months of the year plus identify 10 shapes and 11 colors. I have four year olds who can read. If your child has the capacity to learn it, I will teach it. I also pride myself in having a daycare program that parents are willing to drive out of their way for because they know the lessons their children will receive are worth it. Daycare/Preschool might be the only time you are financially able to provide a private school setting for your child.....so please choose what is best for your child, not necessarily what is closest to your home. Your child is worth it. Thank you for your consideration, and I hope we can arrange for an enrollment interview.

My child only attended one day at Carol Hunt's house and was seriously injured due to her neglect. I strongly urge parents to not send their children to Kid's Academy Day Care. My 2 year old had bruising on 5 areas of his body and signs/symptoms of shaken baby syndrome. My child was thoroughly examined for broken bones and internal bleeding after only one day in her care. I thought I was leaving my baby somewhere safe - I was wrong! Please keep your child/children safe.
