I have toured this provider's facility, but have not used its services

I went on a tour for Kids R Kids and was blown away by how amazing their facility and programs were. I didn't even need to finish the tour to know that I'd be sending my daughter there in September! I was given the enrollment form and the price of tuition and deposit. I was so excited I told friends and family about it, and filled out the form and wrote the check. I put it on my fridge so that my husband could go take it in the following Friday when he went to tour the school (he wasn't able to come with me the first time around). That Monday I received an email from the owner, Pat (who walked me through the tour the week prior), saying that they could not guarantee that my daughter would be accepted into first grade after completing their program, since she doesn't meet the age cutoff. I told her that I understood, and as a parent I would be handling that part on my end. Pat made sure to tell me about all of her years as an educator and her experience with the public school, and again I reiterated to her that as the parent I will take care of correspondence with the public school on my end, and as long as they were providing my daughter with a Kindergarten program in September, that's all I was looking for. It was clear to me that the curriculum was their own Kids R Kids curriculum, which I was more than happy with. She ended her email with "We hope you will still consider enrolling Ava in our program but please be aware we cannot guarantee admission to first grade in Fall 2023." Of course, my husband and I were absolutely still considering sending her to this amazing program, even with that information. A couple days later, Pat emailed saying that they don't have the quota for the Kindergarten class in the Fall. As you can imagine, I was left with a number of questions and was very confused as to why I was just now being told this. Neither at the tour nor in her previous emails did she mention that there was a quota that may not be met or that there was any possibility that the Kindergarten class would not be offered. As I mentioned before, my husband had an appointment for a tour and to leave the deposit, so to be surprised with this information left us wondering what had suddenly changed. All of the emails between Pat and I were professional and respectful. She ended her final email with "With this uncertainty, it would be in your best interest to find a school with a program that can meet your goals and expectations. Thank you for your interest in Kids R Kids. Best wishes to you in all your endeavors." I responded to her email asking for clarification about what had changed so suddenly, however Pat decided that the conversation was over and that I did not deserve a response. As a fellow professional, I found it extremely dismissive, unprofessional, and pompous for Pat to figuratively shut the door in a prospective parent's face that way. I truly hope that other families like ours are not being turned away from this school or being disrespectfully disregarded like this. While I am very upset about how this all unfolded and quite frankly heartbroken that my daughter missed out on this opportunity, the main purpose of this review is to hold Pat, and others, accountable for the way they interact with others. Everyone deserves understanding, and acting as if you do not have the time of day for someone is just wrong. Given that Pat never responded to me, I am left with only assumptions as to why she believed it was appropriate to dismiss me.
