Description: Johnson County Montessori Preschool was founded in 1965 in a quaint, tree-lined, downtown Overland Park neighborhood. Our Montessori-trained and certified teachers provide individualized lessons using proven teaching methods in a comfortable, homey environment. We also have a large, nature-filled playground.
We’ve been around so long because early childhood education in the Montessori tradition is so effective, encouraging children’s natural love for learning and giving them opportunities to develop problem-solving skills to use all their lives.
We believe in a strong relationship between home and school. Continual, open communication is essential. That’s why we publish a monthly newsletter, provide as-needed updates, and communicate through a variety of informal means so that everyone is informed about topics that can affect the learning and well-being of the children in our care.
