Description:
Although licensed for 14, during the Covid-19 Pandemic, we limiting our enrollment to 7 children.
We offer a variety of choices for children to discover and explore. These opportunities and materials are set out and made available for the children to explore on their own, without demonstration. Children are asked thoughtful questions about what they are seeing, feeling, thinking, to lead them through thoughtful processes. It is my belief that children learn best through play and when participating in the discovery process, as opposed to being 'taught'. We play outdoors everyday, except in extreme weather. This means we will be outside in the rain, the mud, the cold, the heat...(of course taking time indoors when needed) allowing exploration while protected from the elements with mud/rain suits & boots (provided), jackets, sunscreen, sun shades, swim suits, & hats as needed. WE WILL GET MESSY.
Diapers, wipes, pull-ups, meals provided.

With her own grandchildren living in the community, she has chosen to return to childcare so that she can enjoy watching her grandchildren learn and grow, as well as work in the community with other children while their parents are away at work or school. Tina has a intrinsic love for children and enjoys creating a nurturing environment and developing relationships with the families. Tina is excited to have the opportunity to work with families in Shasta County.
