I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Too bad there are not negative stars to rate this facility. The owner, Tammy Dorsten, has no patience for children. She verbally abuses them and places them in her cluttered, disorganized, and dark office if your children misbehave. When you initially meet her, she will come across as sweet, helpful, and concerned about the wellbeing of your children. Once you decide it is not the place for your child, she will threaten to send you to collections or civilly sue you. Holdheide Academy is also no longer listed on Bright from the Start website as of November 2016. Bright from the Start regulates childcare licensing in the State of Georgia. If you decide to use Holdheide, do your research through Bright from the Start and the Cherokee County Sheriffs office. Your children depend on you.

I wish there was a way to give this school negative stars!. This school has a great concept but the practices at the school are far from great. There has been very high student teacher ratios and alot of lies and deciet on the owners part. I am amazed she is still in business. I want to vomit when I think about what my child has been through at that school over the last year. If you are charmed by Tammy please reconsider this school, it needs to be shut down! If you choose this school make sure you have a Lawyer!

This school is not a safe place due to the owner who has no patience with children. The parents who think it is amazing must have children who never misbehave or they never hear about it. She puts them in the hallway to sleep or anytime they are crying and she has even put a child in a room alone while he screamed. She needs teachers so bad that she is hiring anyone. She lets her 4 yr old watch the children while she runs around the school and has even let her feed the babies their bottles. This place used to be an amazing school but Tammy has ruined that. Do yourself a favor and put your children somewhere else. But if you do decide to try it out, don't give her your credit card information because if it doesn't work out, she will charge you anyway. I have been there during numerous incidents and I know there are complaints already filed.
