Description: Head Start is a nationwide federally funded pre-school program designed to ensure that all pre-school children, especially those from low-income families and children with disabilities, have the skills to succeed in Kindergarten and future school experiences. Full-day and half-day classes are available from Monday through Thursday 9 months of the year. We serve children in Clay, Cloud, Ottawa, Washington, & Republic counties. Republic County Head Start is housed in a facility made available to us by Scott Specialties, a medical supply company located in the Belleville community. Thank you to Scott Specialties!
