Upon rehire earlier this month and at the time of Amy's visit on 6-29-2021 this staff's status in I-Lead read "qualified" and her personal file was deemed complete by Amy. However, the submitted date of the consent was in July 2019 which means her consent had expired while she was no longer working at the center (her last day worked was 3/31/20). This was not noticed at the time of rehire because the status was still "qualified" while visiting on 6.29.21 Amy pointed out to me that she was not able to find the staff in the state system on her laptop and ask that I show her on my computer that the staff was qualified. The consultant pointed out to me status was qualified but the submitted date on the status was in July 2019 and it was expired which is why she was unable to find her in her system on her laptop. I spoke with the staff and she had not received notification from I-lead stating her consent was expired or expiring. Staff was able to go in and complete a new consent today and is currently in submitted status in I-Lead. Going forward staff will be terminated in I-Lead after their last day worked. If re-hired they will have to complete a new consent in I-lead and wait for a qualified status to start work. In addition, consent submission dates will be tracked electronically since I-lead doe snot consistently notify the center or the staff of the expiring consent and keeps them in "qualified status."
