While the teachers there are fairly kind I have a couple of complaints that I think everyone should be aware of before they enroll their child. 1) most of them cannot spell in general and you'll see that's apparent in displays. 2) no matter how many times you tell them they will never pronounce your child's name right even when it's simple like "Alex." 3) if you leave them every resource in your arsenal to care for your child they will ignore all of it and make threats if you don't do exactly as they say. If you work too far to get there within 30 minutes of them calling you to pick up your child? Know they will call DCF. If you can't answer your phone but you have several other numbers available? They won't call any of those people. You take your child to the doctor returning with specific instructions? Your doctor is a quack doctor and "don't know what they are talking about" (because, you know, medical school is trumped by daycare owner every time). Your child is healthy all weekend then end up seeming sick by the end of the day their first day back to school? They will literally accuse you of not caring about your child.
Don't get me wrong, the teachers are great people overall who do try very hard but good luck dealing with the management. My son and I have had it with that daycare. For reference, we had another daycare for over 2 years straight with no issues so I'm not just being obnoxious.
