Description: At Friends Together Nursery is a child-centered program, designed for ages 1.9 years to 4+ years. We have a spacious Multi-Purpose room, incorporating creative large motor activities including, giant dominoes, tossing games, bike riding & blocks. Our music program, Kinder Music, is part of our Monday A.M. & P.M. classes. Our Art Program has created a child-centered art exploration for our children on Wednesdays in the A.M. & P.M. classes.

|Brief Description: a copy of the evacuation plan, evacuation drills, and shelter-in-place drills conducted, on forms furnished by the Office or approved equivalents, as required in sections 418-1.4(b) and 418-1.5(b) of this Subpart;|
|Brief Description: The Office shall require the child day care program to immediately post upon receipt in a prominent place at the program that is visible to parents a copy of the most recent inspection report issued to the program by the Office.|
|Brief Description: Other than for school age children, sleeping and napping arrangements must be made in writing between the parent and the program. Such arrangements shall include: the area of the program where the child will nap; whether the child will nap on a cot, mat, bed or a crib; and how the napping child will be supervised, consistent with the requirements of section 418-1.8 of this Subpart.|
|Brief Description: The program must keep documentation of immunizations the child has received to date, in accordance with New York State Public Health Law.|
|Brief Description: The licensee must prepare a health care plan on forms furnished by the Office. Such plan must protect and promote the health of children. The health care plan must be on site, followed by all staff and available upon demand by a parent or the Office. In those instances in which the program will administer medications, the health care plan must also be approved by the program's health care consultant unless the only medications to be administered are:|
|Brief Description: over-the-counter topical ointments, lotions and creams, sprays, including sunscreen products and topically applied insect repellant; and/or|
|Brief Description: obtain written consent at the time of admission from the parent which authorizes the program to obtain emergency health care for the child;|
|Brief Description: Staff members must be qualified by training and experience to carry out their respective functions in the administration, operation and maintenance of the child day care center.|
|Brief Description: daily attendance records, which must be filled out at the time a child arrives and departs, and must include arrival and departure times;|
|Brief Description: Garbage receptacles must be covered, and cleaned as needed after emptying.|
|Brief Description: Every director, teacher, and volunteer with the potential for regular and substantial contact with children in care must complete Office-approved training that complies with the federal minimum health and safety pre-service or three-month orientation period training requirements.|
|Brief Description: The provisions specified on the license are binding and the child day care center must operate in compliance with the terms of the license. The number and age range of children specified thereon are the maximum number and age range of children who may be in the care of the child day care center at any one time.|
|Brief Description: must obtain a medical statement before the person has any involvement with children in care, as required in section 418-1.11(b) of this Subpart;|
|Brief Description: personnel information including a list of all staff with job assignments and schedules; Statewide Central Register clearance results; Justice Center for the Protection of Persons with Special Needs background check forms; criminal history review information; staff resumes; medical statement, acceptable references and other information required by section 418-1.13 of this Subpart;|
|Brief Description: Suitable precautions must be taken to eliminate all conditions in areas accessible to children which pose a safety or health hazard.|
