I’m a former employee at Growing Kidz and let me start off with complementing the teachers, they’re a few great teachers there. I highly wouldn’t recommend working at Growing Kidz, very shady Mangement, the Co Director is horrible, I have never worked in a toxic environment. No benefits and decent pay.
I was a former employee of this organization and let me be completely clear. The boasting of what accreditation they hold is pretty much held together by tape and glue and hope. At the time, I was the *only* state certified teacher on staff. I can tell you that I worked with wonderful people, but the standards this institution claims to value is severely lacking. The coordinator and her cronies continue to make more each year, though none have credentials, the hardest working employees never see raises, but their childcare expenses are always on the rise due to the constant raising of tuition. There is no trickle down here, and the people watching your children barely have GEDs. They cannot even follow the directions on how to fill out the *worksheets* necessary to keep said accreditation. If you want to contribute to an organization that self serves only it's top members while your child gets subpar care, please pick this place. Especially if you want to pay out the nose for people who are barely getting paid enough to survive to watch your kids (at an unsafe ratio might I add). There are so few teachers, I know a woman who had to wear a maxi pad because she knew shouldn't get a bathroom break. I'm not even kidding.
