Description: The Family YMCA at Tarrytown’s Y Early Learning Center (YELC) at Tappan Hill in Tarrytown, offering childcare programs for Infants through School Age children. This new location offers expansive, bright and colorful classrooms, a themed activity room, library, gymnasium and three outdoor play spaces! Please come visit the new site at 50 Ichabod Lane (at the intersection of Marymount Avenue, Union Avenue, and Ichabod Lane). You’ll be delighted to find our same nurturing staff and high quality, age appropriate curriculum in an altogether fresh, new and exciting location for your children.

The Y Early Learning Center is designed to provide stimulating early learning experiences, including academic, cognitive, fine and gross motor, physical fitness, social and emotional development. The center operates from 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Our center consists of classrooms for infants (full day), toddlers & preschool (part day and full day options), and two “school age” rooms for kids in Kindergarten through grade 6 to spend their afternoons after school dismissal.
