Description: People of God, Empowered by Word and Sacrament, Reaching out in Love, promoting God’s love for all providing a safe and nurturing child care environment for all children. Faith’s Little Friends (FLF) seeks to provide a safe and nurturing environment incorporating God’s love for all. We realize that parents/guardians are the primary educators of their children. It is our goal to join in partnership to promote healthy children and families. Through child care, it is the intention to join in partnership with the parents/guardians to develop spiritual growth by incorporating Christian values through daily activities. The Center also seeks to include physical, educational, positive self-esteem building, social and cognitive environment with the assistance of the center director, teachers, assistants, volunteers and pastors of Faith Lutheran church. Faith’s Little Friends is a non-profit daycare, licensed for 56 children ages 6 weeks to 13 years old and opened in 2001. The center is open Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. In 2011, FLF collaborated with the Janesville School District by adding the P4J (Preschool for Janesville) program as the part of Faith Lutheran Church’s newest ministry. The Center offers flexible scheduling, accepts State Assistance (W-2) and provides a breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack at no additional charge. At Faith’s Little Friends, our staff is dedicated and focused on curriculum in the classrooms that are fun, clean and most importantly safe. We also feel that children learn through play as much as they do through curriculum so we encourage independent and group play indoors and outdoors.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
