I have toured this provider's facility, but have not used its services

After receiving high recommendations and reading reviews I had higher expectations from Elite. I am so beyond disappointed and insulted with my experience with them. FAR from Elite. We absolutely love our current daycare and only considered changing because of a job location change. After my experience I would rather keep my hour commute. It was poor communication from the start. I paid my deposit May 25th with the understanding from Savannah that my kids start date would be beginning of July. Alanna, the owner was out of town and she assured me I would get a call the following week with start day because “she is the one who knows exact date kids move in and out of classes” her exact words. Completely understood. After 2 weeks of no call I reached out again, spoke with Savannah, she said Alanna would be in at 9AM and she would call me to discuss start date. I never received a phone call. After 4 business days I reached out AGAIN. Savannah completely disregarded the fact that I never received a call back and her response was she emailed me that same Monday with a couple of questions on my start date. I was expecting a call as I was told, not an email. I answered her questions and she said Alanna would call or email me in 1-2 weeks with start date for July. This time around I checked my email regularly. NOTHING. On 6/28 (over a month since deposit and over 2 weeks since we last spoke) I decided to just go in and ask for a refund since my calls were clearly not being returned. I waited for the parent speaking to Savannah to leave and asked to speak with her. I started off by letting her know how disappointed and concerned I was with the lack of communication and started going down my list of dates I reached out and she kept interrupting me with, “We have never had anyone complain”, “We pride ourselves in excellent communication”, “Well, I emailed you.” When it should have been I’m sorry this has happened. We really don’t have a start date for you yet. And what really was upsetting was well we don’t have openings in July, it will be December. Wait.. what?? When I asked her if she could please let me continue speaking without being interrupted she immediately got flustered and responded with “I’m not use to someone being so forward”. As another parent came in we paused our conversation. I had no issue with that as the current parents and children are absolutely first priority. She also went to get another teacher to help out if any other parents and children walked in. I ended our conversation letting her know that this was not a good start to our relationship and I preferred to get a refund. She said Alanna would be in at 9am and I could wait for her or she could call me. I left my number and about 15 mins later FINALLY ACTUALLY GOT A CALL BACK! As I started to go into my reason why I wanted my refund, all what is mentioned above, she stopped me to let me know in 13 years she has never had anyone complain about Savannah nor has she ever had a parent come in and be hostile to the point where the parents and teachers were concerned for her. HOSTILE???? I really wish Alanna would have looked up the camera’s before calling me and accusing me of being hostile to the point where there would be a concern for her employees. WHAT A JOKE. This may have been the first problem they have ever encountered but non the less it is a problem of miscommunication on their end. This has been my experience and unfortunately has been a negative one. She continued with the exact same words I said to Savannah, this is not a good start to our relationship so I will issue you a refund. I completely understand even the best daycares make mistakes and this may have been their first mistake but how it was handled was incredibly disappointing and insulting. I’m sure they are great until you encounter a problem. I could never recommend them. If I could leave zero stars I would.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Cleaner than most but the perks end there.... Elite has went downhill significantly in the last year. They don't care about the kids, older experienced teachers who care leave, the younger and cheaper teachers (teenagers to early 20's) with no experience the better, bad food mostly junk, they never post when the kids are sick i.e. Strep or a stomach virus, hand foot and mouth.... It's all kept quiet so other parents don't get freaked out.

From our first visit, my husband and I knew Elite was the right school for our child. Not only are they all genuine and attentive, the school is beautiful and meets all the requirements I had in mind for my child! We can't wait to start our new school.
