Description: Thomas Edison Elementary opened its doors in the fall of 1960. It is one of six elementary schools within the Fraser Public School district. Edison serves approximately 480 students from Kindergarten thru 6th grade. Our principal, Dr. Kristi Weiss, along with a teaching staff of 30, an administrative assistant, a media technician, and numerous parent volunteers offers a well-rounded educational experience for our children. Other components that enhance a child’s learning include special subjects such as Art, Physical Education, Music, Band, 21st Century Learning, and H.E.A.R.T (Health Education Awareness Training). Other support personnel (a school psychologist, speech and language therapist, social worker, special education teachers, and a Title 1 teacher) contribute to a child’s learning. We also offer a latchkey program before and after school.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
