Love this daycare both of my kids been attending since they was 6 months now they are 6 and 4. Ms. Cooper and the staff do a outstanding job.
As a neighbor I have observed the transformation from it previously owner 30 years ago and just observing the outside appearance have dignified this neighborhood to a top class area. I believe only the Cleaniest, professional people must work there to allow this daycare to stay very clean and beautiful maintenance regularly. Thanks for bringing our neighborhood back. We need a new change.
This center advertises to open at 6:30 am until 6pm. This center does not open until 7 if your lucky. this center has a tremendous turn over rate of employees. If you want a center that blows with the wind this is your place. If you have a consistent lifestyle please find another center to place your child in.
My son started at this school at the age of 2. He would scream and holler because he was not familiar with the daycare system. He would not eat at this center. After a few weeks passed he was saying good bye. He started eating. He has learned so much since he has gone to early journey. I especially want to give a great big thank you to his teacher for the past year or more Mrs. Tina. When I tell you she has taught my son so much. He is 4 and knows how to add numbers to the number one. He knows how to spell two and three letter words. He know his months, days of the week. I can go on and on with how I am overly amazed at what he has learned compared to sending my daughter before him to the public pre-k. The staff are very friendly. I have a grandson that attends this school as well he is 2 years of age. He has learned his colors, his shapes, he has began to potty train. I don't have to think twice about the decision I made over two years ago to enroll my son and to ensure my grandson was enrolled at this school as well. I wouldn't change it for the world. I would advise anyone with early learning children to enroll their kids in Early Journey learning center. I promise you Mrs. Tina teaches our children to become little geniuses.
The owner is very rude to parents and employees I wouldn't dare have my child attend another day here!! It's very "hood" not professional at all!
This place is ran by drug dealer and their wives. Drug money purchase that property to clean up the money. Very hood, unprofessional, disrespectful employees with a very high turn over. They always complaining about their money to the parents. The center only care about money not the kids or their safety. Only places like this in the "hood" will survive cause "we" as black people don't care what happens until it happen to us or our kids..
