Description: The Metropolitan Action Commission Head Start Program of Nashville and Davidson County provides free pre-school education for income-eligible children ages 3-5 years old. There are 7 Head Start Centers and 3 partner sites throughout Nashville. This program is funded to serve 1,485 children, making it the largest provider of early childhood education in Davidson County.
Families with children that have diagnosed disabilities that impede their learning abilities are encouraged to contact us for enrollment. Your child may qualify for enrollment in Head Start regardless of household income. All classrooms promote an inclusive learning environment for all children.
