Description: Welcome and thank you for taking the time to read about our school!
Dovecrest Montessori Academy was founded in 2006. We offer programs for students in preschool, kindergarten and elementary levels (ages 2.9-10 years). As a private Montessori school, our curriculum and programs are designed to build a strong foundation in academics, as well as social, emotional, physical and moral development. This approach encourages a child’s independence, self-motivation, and decision-making skills. Our Montessori and state certified teachers receive continuing education and participate in ongoing training throughout the year. Supplemental teachers specialize in dance, music and art. Our classrooms are designed to stimulate the child’s natural curiosity to explore the world around them.
Our aim at Dovecrest is to create a place that inspires uninhibited exploration of each child's unique curiosity. Montessori provides us with the tools to guide children through their education in a natural and joyous way. The method allows for “Order, Self-Control and Independence”.
We are open from 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM during the school year. The school year is from September to June, following, in general, the calendar for Brockton Public Schools with Summer program in July and August.
It gives us great satisfaction to see our children’s progress on daily basis and we invite new parents to set up a tour of our school to learn about our unique and effective program.

I dont even know where to begin. Ill start with the good though seeing as Im not on here trying to bash the school but moreso to speak the truth! The school itself is great. The Montessori way of learning is very captivating. The students there are very smart and do learn while they are there. Even the preschoolers and early education dept. Other than that, I have nothing nice to say about the school. First off, have you taken a look at the tuition for your child to go there? It is absurd!! Not only do you have to pay for your child to attend, but you have to provide uniform, lunch and snack. And if your child does not bring lunch or snack.. your child will be starving! The way they handle the children there. They "man-handle" them. I would honestly be frightened to send my child there. They actually put their hands on the children to get them to sit or do something. Oh and I forgot. I had a couple students get yelled at because "their parents" forgot to pack them utensils! Can you believe that? They yell at 3 & 4 year olds for not packing their utensils as if they packed their own lunch or as if we couldnt provide them with one. Honestly I have so many bad things to say about this school but its too much to go on and on. Just take a look for yourself. MY ADVICE WOULD BE DO NOTTTT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL. Its a rip off!
