I feel like the teacher let the kids do whatever. And the owner is never their.one day i walk in it was two babies in one bed and a baby pushing the bed. If you don't care about kids then don't open a daycare at all.
My two children have attended this daycare for almost two years. My babies and I have truly enjoyed every aspect of the daycare.Being a nurse there have been a few times I've needed childcare on second shift. So convenient. My children have actually cried when they had to stay home because they "want to go to school".I have another daughter coming in December and when she turns 8 weeks she will be joking her siblings at Discovery Zone.
This is the absolute worst daycare center in the city of Memphis/Cordova, TN. The so called teachers are lazy, unattentive, insensitive, abusive, and non-certified. The infant to teacher ratio is 8:1 & the toddler to teacher ratio is 12:1. Parents please take head and DO NOT send your child/children to Discovery Zone Learning Center. Do your research, contact the Department of Child Protective Services as well as Department of Human Services and inquire about the number of complaints of neglect and abuse.
My children were at Discovery Zone for almost 1 year. Unfortunately, my husband and I moved back home to Mississippi and now I have to find another child care. I loved DZ. I have two children and never once had to worry about neither when I left them. Some may call me a picky parent but I never felt the need to be that way at this Center. The teachers are amazing. My four year old has learned so much and my 10 month old never seemed happier.
This daycare is very under staffed. The staff can't adequately attend to the children because there are too many children and not enough workers. I have observed several children outside playing on the playground with no adult supervision.
