I have used this provider for less than 6 months

Terrible experience with this women, she doesn’t even deserve the one star but unfortunately I had to to proceed. The first time I arrived at this small in home child care service Diane was far from friendly and unwelcoming. My first impression was wow she really hates her job.She didn’t care to ask anything about my son or even to know him.I explained to her that my son was potty training and wasn’t very verbal to when he needed to go.She said “I’ll just keep taking him to the bathroom”. Later that day my mom had picked him and said he had two accidents. I was upset considering what she said she would do and the he had only been there for 4 hours that day.I let things pass because I know how hard and busy it can be while working with children.I called today, about a month later because I needed another drop in day for my son due to work.At first she didn’t even remember who me or my son was. After it dawned on her she said “oh, I know who were talking about” with a unpleasant tone before I could even say anything she jumped down my throat saying “I can’t have a child here who doesn’t nap and is running around crying disturbing all the other children who are napping.I had a lot of mad parents because of this”. I replied “So you just deny services to any child who doesn’t nap”?She said “by state law I have to have children nap”. By state law you have to have children rest quietly for 30 minutes I worked in childcare before and we would have this issue quite a bit. Not once did we ever tell a parent that we couldn’t have their child there because they don’t nap or how terrible their child was that day.We worked with the child and tried to help them settle themselves for at least 30 minutes as any professional should do.We also didn’t blame kids and parents for other upset parents. If you are going to run a business then that is your responsibility to handle. No parent or child should be treated this way by any means.I am hurt and upset for my child if she talked to me this way I wonder how she talks to kids who aren’t following “her rules”. Absolutely do not recommend this women to any parent who wants to feels secure that they’re child is getting what they deserve while us busy parents can not be around to do it.
