Discriminatory. Will be following proper channels to report.

Called for availability of a slot for 4 year old, they informed me there was indeed a spot actually 2 spots, one at each location. They offered me an immediate tour and said we could start childcare same week. I get a callback from ms Jean/jen and she go over your options and states “by the way the spot is in my class I’ll be the teacher”

I say perfect since you will be the teacher should I bring my childs IEP to the tour to go over, she asks what the IEP is for and I tell her mild autism. Immediately she starts stuttering and asking how my child is in class and says she needs to check something with her director. After a quick hold she hops back on the phone and says I’m sorry I made a mistake there’s actually no slot available.

So now there’s suddenly not a spot available when there was just TWO spots available 3 seconds after you discover my child is autistic. This was offensive and saddening
Do not recommend in general because this shows how much effort the teachers are willing to put into students and how they are quick to prejudge small children. Definitely will be reporting to the state for discrimination, as this was a super blatant case.
